Negin, thank you for telling me this, I appreciate it. In reality this piece was about 10 inches tall (25.4 cm). Everything seems to come out about book-page size, except for the smaller 3-scrap collages. It must be a "mindset."

Jennifer, I love your interesting wording. Edges look "nibbled" because pages from fallen-apart old books tend to be thin+brittle. They can crack any which way when I try to fold or tear them. Their unpredictability is one reason I'm drawn to working with them.
