Actually I flubbed up plenty. Not great at strategy, or maybe it's "not great at remembering the strategy," or "not great at counting letters correctly when there are more than five of them." But that is all in the past--no time for Scrabble since mail art exploded the studio.

woo hoo! Mystery solved. I have been so intrigued to know what this linguistic formula was about. You surely must have won on that and every other scrabble game with all these complex words.  You were definately a scribe in a past life.

This is so fine! It's a beautiful look, sort of like a tablet. What you do with color (for just one thing) is endlessly amazing, Diane.

I'll try to keep this brief: The words show attempts, while playing online Scrabble with myself, to find 15-letter words in order to cover two triple-word tiles at the same moment and get many hundreds of points. The circled letters are ones that form little words unto themselves, which means I can try to get those little words on the board first, since in Scrabble you have only 7 letters to work with at any one time, not 15. I forget what the asterisk over the m means. I have to write all that stuff down at the time because.

Brevity: D-minus

Thanks for posting Sandra-glad you like it. Those words are from a piece of 'trash' given to me by Nancy Bell Scott. I'm still trying to figure out what she was doing with them. Crossword puzzles? very fancy pants words

Received today from Diane Keys. I saw the word "department" but actually understood it to be "defartment". Heh.
