haha. yea something like that, I like to change things up a bit. But mostly I just like the bright colors and such in that one. I've been trying to get into photography and editing so we'll see how that goes! meant to ask do you do portraits by any chance? Like your co worker print?
Wow! Many, many, many thanks, Brent!
Package arrived today..overflowing with wonderful things!
Now I want to spend many hours just appreciating it all!
Agapi,
Katerina
that's cool so do you want me to send a different picture? OR work with the ones I have? How long does it usually take for you.. I know you add lots of colors, it's so awesome...
send picts..via mail...I am tired of buying printers to make the ink work..and just adding to the trash..so I don't print out much..That is why any Mail Art I send..is real..last of reproduced unless I redraw..keeps ideas in flux..I can get a few small pictures done a week..but that doesn't mean it will look like what I am drawing..last night..two drawings..one perfect..one off..chopped the chin of a magazine model..I try to get done in a week..right now..10 small pictures..I might be able to do all 30 post cards done..in a week..pending on what I have..to draw from..
hi brent
thanks for the comment yes they are fun to make. i love your drawings and art work does it take you a lot of time to make your postcards?
regards treena
I grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, went to Sligo Jr. High and Northwood HS. It is pouring here, I live in DC and work in Arlington, VA travel by metro. We are being power washed by Mother Nature this weekend and next week is supposed to be close to 60 and sunny.
Thank you very much for your mail art. It took one month to come but the sleeve arrived in good condition. I like the art work very much, all the pieces are very beautiful watercolors
Hi Brent, I was just about to let you know about our collaboration on the 4th Dimension blog, but I see you are already aware of it. I think it came out rather well. I am going to eventually collaborate with the book you sent me a while back when I have more time. Thanks for being a sport old man! Test
Hey Brent, Sounds cool. Can't wait to get your Art - love your stuff! I have got to get something out to you soon - I am behind in my responses (can you tell)? Sorry about that. Wish I had the energy you seem to have! Aw well, what can a poor fella do? See you in the mail my friend, Test
Hi Brent, I received a plastic envelope from you yesterday in the mail. Unfortunately, there were no contents inside. They must have been lost in transit, i could see that the flap had been scraped open. Aw well....... Sorry about that.
Cheers, Test
My favorite series...
though the other prints are also extremely interesting.
There is something about the intensity in the eyes,
behind these squared glasses, that are have me questioning.
Thanks for sending these!
Thank you for the amazing little package! I was very excited by all of the things you enclosed. Made my week! I will be sending a response package soon!
I like the "new" portrait on your profile...great watercolor!
'Will definitely want to be on the mailing list for your add and pass magazine:

Can't wait to see the magazine, Brent. But sure is a good idea to wait and send them next month:January....after the holidays and the mad house at the post offices has quieted down. I am anxious to see how soon the mail art "365" I sent you will arrive! Hope it is not delayed by snow!!!
I found your art in my mailbox today! Thank you for sharing your amazing prints and paintings. I look at your work and feel like mine is merely craft compared to your art. But then I think, if we were all the same, it would be awfully boring!
Waaahoo! I got the greatest art from you this weekend! Thank you- I love the prints and the panda- I feel like a rock star getting all of this great work. Sending you some love asap!
A Heads-up for the artist who sent their work unannounced, and with neither a request of friendship nor the right idea as to who would be receiving let alone processing his art:
Dear Brent:
My friends and I are very dismayed over the arrival of something from you which none of us had looked for. If you will notice, our address, along with our membership, did change soon after my joining IOUMA. Instead, we as a group now prefer all our mail (art mail, etc) be kept at a postal outlet which provides a more reliable venue for the receiving of such mail as the IUOMA would encourage.
What is curious is how you came about choosing this singular address, along with a person's name who had never asked for that name be disclosed either online or elsewhere, yet there it is, handwritten by you on the envelope you sent.
While we are documenting things here, you may wish to notify everyone here of how it is you arrived at that person's name, which had never been included in our site nor here, nor anywhere else we blog.
This is a safety issue for some. You are being forewarned, as of this reading, to never again contact any of us via that address.
Furthermore, you are being instructed to never again try and contact that former member through that address already mentioned either via U.S. Mail OR BY ANY OTHER MEANS.
NOR ARE YOU ALLOWED TO CONTACT ANY OF THE REST OF OF OUR MEMBERS AGAIN VIA ANY MEANS WHATEVER.
As my friends and I are concerned this person might not rejoin us in future due to your illegally representing yourself here as regular member or polite mail artist, this is our FINAL STATEMENT to you directly here. We have already in mind how this might be handled through legal means, and are taking steps to do so. YOU WILL NOT BE FOREWARNED AGAIN.
We as group are sometimes online at the same time from various locations for different reasons. We do blog together, and have been known to visit here through a link I set up at a private web address. While one of us got it into her head she mustn't be known, the others were busy. We have just had a that chat I'd hoped we would, and she wishes me to convey to you her sincere apologies for making such a muddled accusation today.
There are heavy personal difficulties in her world which must be cleared up before she could begin to think of blogging or being a part of our scene here at IUOMA again. She is no longer our "postmistress," having resigned immediately following her address being given here our first day. Her worries have been difficult to handle lately. We hope it'll be smooth sailing for her soon. But we should have kept in mind your point of view before announcing her alarm. We as group through me did not follow through well and are perhaps to blame for our favoritism of a fellow studio member over you as interested artist.
Our general confusion has been more about why anybody would send us a thing if we only just joined and have few Friends here. Confusion is fueled by what may be discernible. No PMs are sendable unless friendship is given in return. Why does this not extend to actual mail in one's personal box? Quite frankly, we found this a confusion inducer. The fact you were unknown to us and had our first address (now gone) was a worry for some. While you include a return address, it 's only a first name one sees with it. This also was a factor.
In the interests of peace, we are hopeful you may come to value the causes of our worry as part of our being new here. Keep in mind, not everybody's ready to roll right away. It would have helped had we be given a choice.
Brent, your artwork is amazing, youthful, witty and charming. I loved and treasure every piece you have sent me and I hope that you will continue to be a vital part of IUOMA. You are a selfless, giving individual who understands the true spirit of this site and I would be very honored to receive anything you ever send. Please understand that the confused feelings of one individual do not represent the general population of this union. Thank you for being a part of this family of artists.
