Hello to you too. I dream about those days too sometimes, it was my childhood. Things have changed here in the past decades. I grew up here, went away, came back and sometimes it is hard to believe how it was since it is so different now. But for the most part the ocean is the same.
  • Michael Orr

Hi Testy. Thanks for the welcome and the compliment. I have not yet made it to the great state of California. It was worth a shot though. :D

    Cheers!
  • Laurence Roberts

hi Test, thanks. You're very welcome. Really glad you like the sculpture and to hear you call it 4th Dimension is a geat accolade to me ! Thankee.

Yes, it would be great to swap art!

  • Rachel Fasig

    Hey Test Tower,

I'm working on something for the 4th Dimension.

I'm wondering if "the Jimmies" originally started in Heebee Jeebee Land. Hmmm....something to ponder.

    Rachel
  • Rachel Fasig

Whew! Just had to double check that I DIDN'T say "Mr. Jimmy" when I really meant "the Jimmies"! That really worried me cuz as bad as having "the Jimmies" can be, I'm thinkin I'd have to be in Heebee Jeebeeland to meet Mr. Jimmy. And as you will see in my contribution to the 4th Dimension, I'm not anxious (pardon the pun) to go to Heebee Jeebeeland any time soon! Rachel
BTW: I recently read that the "Mr. Jimmy" story may just be a myth. The plot thickens....
  • Rachel Fasig

Hey Test: glad you did some digging into 'Mr. Jimmy'. I had not see this site before.

I think there is "fact' (which is probably closer to myth) and there is "myth" (which is probably closer to fact) and I often wonder how much "reality" falls in that scale.

    Off my pedestal now...
thanks to what you found, "Mr. Jimmy" may have a different impact in the Heebee Jeebee 4th Dimension as I create it. Not that I thought of him in a negative way before...just more potential life-changing. Some people perceive those kind of changes as scary, some as the best. The mental shift "you can't always get what you want, you get what you need" can be huge! Love it!

    OK...now I'm REALLY off my pedestal! :-)
  • Rachel Fasig

Heebee Jeebeeland mail heading your way!
  • Rachel Fasig

Looking forward to the mail from you!

Sent you something in honor of Mr. Jimmy. I hope you enjoy it - I enjoyed creating it!
  • Rachel Fasig

Hey Test: I got your mail art today - I love it! I feel I have met a kindred spirit. Maybe we can collaborate sometime.

BTW: tried to subscribe to the Heebee Jeebeeland blog and I'm not getting updates. Any suggestions?
  • Eduardo Cardoso

  • sharon kennick

when kris came home from dc on saturday, the first thing she wanted to do (after eating) was look at the mail art that had arrived in her absence. she's amazed by the number of people who sent art..."the muse" *chortle* we struggle. she likes the studio messy, i like it just a little more orderly. oy! i always enjoy knowing who's visited the blog; thanks for the shout out. your piece should arrive any time, like, as soon as every postal worker between here and there gets through passing it around the post office...see you around the zoo!
  • Parys St. Martin

Test, thank you for another one of your wonderful pieces of MA
Sorry about the delay putting up on my website, i have been away on holidays
