    Hi,
Thanks for the welcome, so many welcomes...seems a friendly place.
Actually I'm originally from SF...but way to expensive to live there. Discovered warehouse living in Oakland is more to my taste.
  • Xtina Solano

    Hi Test and Cotton Picker
Hope all is well up there in Washington-
i've been a little busy but i should be back to speed in a month or so, just wanted to say hi

Jingletown is exactly where I am located. Only been here about 11 years so haven't heard of the shopping cart races. Jingletown is quite a warehouse district itself...right across that estuary and around the corner from the Park St Bridge leading into Alameda.
Check out my flickr link for photos of my nayborhood. I included shots of some of the warehouse/loft area and doorways. There is even an aerial shot supplied by google.

    Hi Test,
Hope you're well and that someone has turned down the oven a tad.
Many irons in the fire this summer hence very low mailart output. You're on the list.....oh, the list.
    Soon come,
    Kindest regards,
    Peter
  • andytgeezer

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Thank you for your friendship, Test,
And we will wait at SKETBE to see your art work!
'Will let you know when it arrives and hopefully SKETBE
will up-date their list of artists at their blogspot. Not to worry,
SKETBE has a deadline of Sept.15th, but will accept all art
that arrives the latest by Oct. 1st.
Many thanks for participating, and you are most welcome to
come to Greece for the exhibit and conference in December.
(Any "Test Towers" for HeeBee JeeBee Island that I sent you arrive yet?) All the best,
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Wow, HeeBee JeeBee Island is really shapin' up, Test!
Great blog you have, amazing art work from many,
and what a fun narrative that you write.
You have to make it into a book...or a movie
(Spielberg would do wonders with it, he'd understand the
    4th dimension surely!)
See you on HeeBee Jee Bee Island soon.
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Oh ye, Test, of great computer knowledge here at IUOMA...
is there a way to send a message/announcement to each member (all 635+) without having to message individually hitting each "add message"? The mail art call for Greece is on "Events" and at MA, and at a Discussion site, but most need to have a personal invite on their page, I think. Anyway, the days are counting down and I just want to spread the word to all. Thanks,
    Katerina
    p.s.
more towers being constructed for HeeBeeJeeBee Island :)
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Thanks Test, Ruud was also helpful. And it seems i have enough announcements in enough places here. Those who will send, will send.
(And keep your eye out for a new tower or so for HeeBee JEEBee Island :)

counterminoriteisme action :in Europe the pastoral minorities the existence of which it is not possible to deny without bad faith necessarily have to assert themselves to claim their rights;same time sees one not the rumour of insignificant or artificial minorities invading the field of reflexion and media ? More, in the name of the crisis Europe wants to exercise its power of surprofit; the typical cheese replaces for minority region, the national flag and symbol of Europe; easy to find for every pastoralisme a monaie of replacement in the euro!
the typical cheese replaces for minority regional pastoralism , the national flag and symbol of Europe; easy to find for every pastoralisme a currency substitute of the euro! Example: the region which produces of the Camembert cheese, the currency will be the Camembert , the Camembert extra, half Camembert and half Camembert extra!
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

YES! I checked with SKETBE and your art has arrived. Your name has been added to the list of participants on my page. Oh, so much thanks! I have not been able to see the art postcards that are at SKETBE, but soon hope to do so.

    All the best,
    Katerina

Thanks for visiting Art Lab. You need not be active. There are several sleeping members on Art Lab. There are thousands of networks. I can understand people can't be active on all the sites. I am a member of more than 500 networks & active on about 10 sites only. I visited your site for a few minutes. Yes, it is nice.
    Have a wonderful Sunday

    Hello Test!
Something for HeeBee JeeBee Island should be arriving from Athens soon. I have returned from a few-days' visit there and it soooooo reminded me of the 4th dimension :-) That is how it is when a girl from a little Greek town goes to the great BIG CITY! Actually, there was so much rain the last day I was there, I was beginning to think that Athens was going to become another Greek Island! Geez!
    All the best,
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Nice, Test, really nice to seethe Tower-of-Power at HeeBee JeeBee Island!

Hope one day you can come to visit Athens, I'll meet ya there.
Thought about Cotton Picker during my trian trip to Athens...
all the cotton fields were waiting to be "picked"!
Cotton Picker would like Greece, too.

PERASTIKA Test Tower! Get Well Soon!
Please take care and stay indoors for the next 10 days or more.
We want you to be healthy and happy and caring for HeeBee JeeBee Land :-)
Luckily germs can't spread over the internet ( though we have to be careful
of a bad "virus" or two or three!).
I cannot post an image here on your page, sooooooooooooooo,
'will be sending you some mail art .
    YOU take care of YOU!
    Agapi,
    Katerina
  • stan askew

hi test ! got your great card, but no eyes were on the front ... now i am really curious. will get another card in the mail to you this week. have been working a lot on photography and am way behind in sending out mail art. your work is superb and i am always stoked when something from test arrives at casa de askew. wishing you the best, my friend! stan
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

No, no, no, Test...you do NOT go out to mail anything.
We can wait patiently for your mail art. No rush.
That virus is a tricky-dicky...it "hides" and ya think it is over,
then it rears up worse than before.

So, pleazzzzzze, stay indoors, stay warm, and drink lots of tea, etc.
We want you well in the 4th Dimension!
    Agapi,
    Katerina
