User "geb molar" and "Maria Richardson" are trying to fool us.
"Maria Richardson" sends everyone an invitation to write to his email address.
"geb molar" listed as its site the website of a company that sells standard springs. This is not an art account.

Users called «Maria Richardson» and «J Mclaughlin» send out letters, asking to correspond with them by email, avoiding the IUOMA website. Both have profiles private on IUOMA, it is not clear if they are artists. The great possibility is that they are advertising or spamming.

Unfortunately, user "Amber K. Kirk" listed the website as his own web address

I can't even block messages from him, because the account is set to private, and there's no way I want him as a "friend!" Pretty sure he should get the boot, thank you!

Recently a user "A Maris" from Gainesville, FL registered on this forum.

Instead of his address, the user provided a link to his website. This is the website of a mediator certified by the Florida Supreme Court. I asked A Maris: Excuse me, are you advertising legal mediation? In response, the user closed his page, making it inaccessible to me. What could this possibly mean?

Any mail postmarked from Gainesville Florida might be from a particular spammer who’s been around a long time. I noticed at one point add and pass mail was supposed to go back to a person at museum in Florida. The director. Oddly, I knew that person, as he’d been a gallery director in our city. I wrote to him, he said yes, seems some one put his name on these and lots were ending up at his museum. Why do people do this! Why use mail art platform to spam?!. Aaagh!

The latest "member"  -- Dushel Tesla --- is a total spammer.  They are all over the internet, joining groups with no real presence.  PLEASE remove this "person".  They may have joined to do harm and they are certainly not really interested in mail art.

Has any one had an email from Mira Donovan? A new members as of 4 hours ago, emailed me to get in touch re: a project. Hmmm. I sent a message via IUOMA to them. Will see what happens.

"A spammer is sending members of IUOMA -mails that they are suspended. Not true, fake news!"

The sender her/him-selve is banned though and is resending this message. Nothing is happening inside the IUOMA-network.
