Sources of strength - we live in a rather broken world, characterized by environmental destruction and pollution, climatic catastrophes and war conflicts, not to mention the personal and work-related problems that many people have to deal with. We are asking: Where do you get the strength to go through life upright despite all this? What brings you joy, what creates hope and confidence, what puts a smile on your face, what brightens your heart? Whether it is friends or family, art or music, religion or philosophy, sports or meditation, whether it is the smile of your neighbor or the chirping of birds in the morning - whatever makes you strong and powerful, let us know!

We want to focus on the positive and empowering aspects of life as we need them to survive in this world. We are curious and looking forward to receive your answer!

THE MOSAIC
Organized by the Creative Experimental Laboratory of the Torre Social Centre.

The size of the mail art works must be 10cm.X10cm.
Free technique and theme, each work must contain something blue, even a small element.
Each artist can submit up to 5 works.
All the Mailart received will contribute to creating a mosaic that will be composed in September in the square in the Mortise district of Padua during the Associations Festival.

No selection, no sale.
Free participation
The works must not have offensive and racist content.
The works will not be returned but will become an integral part of the collective work which will then be exhibited in various places.

La misura delle opere di mail art deve essere di 10cm.X10cm.
Tecnica e tema liberi, ogni opera deve contenere qualcosa di azzurro anche un piccolo elemento.

Brazil or Italy? What comes in your mind when you think about Brazil and Italy?

Cultural exchange: Art, food, music, games, words, expressions and memories…  Which exchanges are evident in each culture? Dialogues? Influences of Italian immigration in Brazil and the massification of Brazilian culture around the world? Interferences in personal, professional or love life, or even the curiosity to travel? How can you visually represent the influences between Italy and Brazil?

The pieces will be used in exhibitions in this theme’s related events as well as to illustrate theses and articles.

Mail Art Open Call  “Stop Sex Colonialism in Ukraine”.

Feministo 2024 was launched in September 2024 and is a new project for women and self-identifying female Networkers in the mail art scene. The project is inspired by Ginny Lloyd's Blitzkunst questionnaire and Monica Ross's Postal Art Event 1975 - 77. Feministo 2024 is one part assembling zine, one part info-sharing, and one hundred percent dedicated to physical documentation for all participants.

Interested fe(mail) artists should email hellofeministo2024@gmail.com to receive a link to The Questionnaire, which is the primary way of gathering information for the project. Once 10 Questionnaires are completed, the project organizer compiles answers into a zine; the zine is then mailed to the 10 people who filled out The Questionnaire -- and the process starts all over again. Feministo 2024 intends to continue through the end of the year, producing zines every 10 participants.

Participants are encouraged to include a physical mailing address to exchange postal mail with other artists in their issue of the zine, but it isn't required. Fe(mail) artists outside the United States are welcome to respond to The Questionnaire.

I’d like to share my newly started mail art project "Viva El Barto".

You’ll receive a numbered card showing Bart Simpson in his classic spray-painting pose. Your part: change it, make it your own and send it back to me whenever you like. No deadline and no pressure. If you don’t feel like sending it back, that’s fine too.

Each card becomes part of a (hopefully) growing series, which I document on Instagram (@mhantipode). I’ll of course also post incoming cards here.
