For those who understand, who we lost. Tonight in Kiel (Germany) died poet and researcher Sergey Sigey Russian avant-garde (Yablonskii Sigov), born in 1947 in Murmansk.

I have a few copies left of K, the chapbook of Zaumist poetry I did with Serge and Rea almost 10 years ago - Available for a special price of $10 postpaid - contact me at bennettjohnm@gmail.com.  Visual Mom posted a page spread from it below.  It's one of my favorite collaborations that I did with them.

What a blow! To lose two such important artists in such a short span of time. Both were incredibly fertile non conforming avant artists - and Rea was almost the same age as I am. Our lives on earth are short so continue to make the best art you can.

I'm sorry that I didn't know Serge. He was so accomplished and creative. What a loss for his family, friends, and community.

a very great Cavellini pre-cententary homage artwork that Serge Segay kindly sent me (and it was the first time I had ever sent him something!) as response to my Italy 150 GAC-Subgenius-Berlusconi mash up card from dec 2011.
