Some great work came through the mail this past week from Nancy Bell Scott, Carl Baker, Katerina Nikoltsou, Pedro Bericat and Chris Day. This week I will add all the work that's come in to the blogspot. Thanks everyone!

Love it, Katerina! The NSA and other state spy agencies would deliver up brain salad surgery if they could! And yes, here's to hoping that the price of mail remains under 1 euro. It costs me over $1 to send work outside the US and many of the pieces I get from South America are sometimes double or triple that!

mine is "in-the-mail" ( ...as long as Greek Post keeps it under 1 euro :-)

and here it is digital:

(just the "cover" )...be surprised when it arrives in the mailbox ?

Bradford, you make good points however for some artists the reality is that postage is very expensive. I was only trying to encourage people to be a part of the project for whom cost was an issue. Certainly you can appreciate that? Not everyone can afford to send mail through the postal system. I, myself, have cut back on the number of mail pieces I send out each month and the reason why is cost.

Just use email! (?)  I just posted a physical piece of mail art for less than 50¢ to "Plagiarized Invisible Art".  Part of the way my piece works is that it has to go through the mail.  I would have to physically mail the piece to myself, then scan it to be able to email it.

Plus, I think it is more interesting that a scan of a mailed piece is made by whomever or whatever is in contact with it along the way.

I encourage folks to continue to use the mails for as long as they are available.
