Dear friends!
Ib just want to thank you for those stunning Mail Arts from all over the world, that we are getting day by day to our project: Human and Nature, Human and Technology. They are beautyful! THANK YOU! Monika

“THIS MOUTH IS MINE”

Between 6th and 9th December  2010, two works of mine from the “Doscientos” serie “desappear” from the Exhibition Gallery. With some fragments of the photos I`d taken I made stamps to send all over the world, to keep on shouting for justice and freedom.

I´m inviting you to send me your own shout. Postcard 10 x 15 cm. When your postcard arrive I'll send envelope and stamps to you.

Technique free. No jury. No return.

Send to:

Marcela Peral

Reconquista 1442 - Rosario - S 2013 BXV - Argentina

Online exhibition:

Deadline: Extended till 31th December

Good to have a list of Mail Art Projects here at .ning! I go often to "Mail Art Projects" site, but now it is here, too. Thanks, Ruud!

Dear Everyone!

The Stamp Museum of Hungary, Budapest launches a new project!!

The topic is: "Human and Nature, Human and Technology"

Everyone is welcomed to take part of this project, and we will make a big exhibition at the end, that opens on the Nights of the Museum event, with jazz music.

So I wish for everybody a good work! The details can be found on the attached image, but I'll be happy to reply all your questions!

Have a nice and creative day:

Mónika Csete, Stamp Museum of Budapest

Thanks Ruud - I have some of those stickers you mention.  ;)

The blog archives anddistributes the calls much wider than just the IUOMA network. That is why I post the projects on the blog and they are integrated here as well.

Joel Cohen (The Sticker Dude) did ones print a large set of the IUOMA logo stickers on vinyl. He did that then for free as a gift to the union. If he would agree in selling certain amounts to IUOMA members that would be a great idea.

I met Joel last time in New York (April 2010) but haven't been in contact recently. Will try to make contact and ask him if he likes the idea.

Ruud - He's at Ragged Edge Press .

Mim - I think so too! :D  He seems amenable! :D

Oh what a good idea Carla. We'd be able to buy stickers from Joel! Finger's crossed he's still able to do it, has an interest in doing it, etc.

Also, don't forget that The Sticker Dude (Joel Cohen - Business Name: Ragged Edge Press) makes stickers - it has been his profession for at least 20 years (probably longer!).  And he's a mail artist, too, so it would be cool to give him the business - I think he can be competitive in terms of price.  I've left him a message at FB to see if he's still in the business.

Thanks Ruud!  I'll add things to the blog from now on, too.  Much appreciated!  :D

Ruud, PS Print is fairly inexpensive for vinyl stickers
