Dear Janine. They ARE good (I said so)! Drink a cup of tea -- coffee should be drunk in the morning and at night, but not in the afternoon, because that's the time for tea. Ceylon tea would be appropriate. have a biscuit, or even better a piece of fruit cake with it.

I could understand if you had glue on your fingers or hands, but on your NOSE? If you have developed a new Arty Slides technique using your nose, then I think you should share it with the rest of us.

You say that the slides are tiny, but do you know there are even smaller ones -- 16mm or half-frame slides (and we are using whole frame slides, 35 mm)? I have some 16 mm carboard frames, but the working area in the middle is too, too small. There are also bigger slides apparently, but I've never managed to get hold of any.

There's an English saying, 'Keep your nose clean'. It means -- behave yourself. It's usually said to smùall children, but might also be for Swiss Arty Stamp people.

Janine asks how many? if this is for the end of the month Arty Slide exchange, I suggest that we send each other TWO Arty Slides. That gives the possibility of up to 4 images, front and back of each. What do you think, boys'n'girls? Val

Janine, bonjour!

It doesn't really mean anything -- it's just me being silly. I can promote Arty Slides International in wider circles if I can show that it really is international and has members in lots of countries (well, only 5 so far).

Don't worry about being President. You have only 2 responsibilities that I can think of at the moment:

i) co-ordination with other Swiss members, if there ever are any other Swiss members,

ii) Fendant!

So life goes on the same for you, BUT you have a title as well.

The thing to do is, surely, to have an Arty Slide swap with ALL members (not just the Presidents).

It could be a themed swap, with a mailing at the end of February.
