Architecture/Architectural

I have found architecture and architectural elements fascinating for as long as I can remember. And was surprised there was no group already created that revolves around this topic or these images.  Open to anything revolving around architecture/buildings/or the elements that make up these parts of our society.

Another object in Moscow of the same constructivist (cubist) style. Club of the Kauchuk plant (1929), architect Melnikov. Old photo and modern look. I live not far from this club, I often pass by.

Hi Heide.

Thank you for your feedback. At the beginning of the 20th century, there was indeed a reception of Cubism in Russia. Young artists and architects massively became the followers of Georges Braque and Picasso.

Oh Ilya, what fabulous sketches! I adore his cubist tendencies.

Hi Brian.

Thank you for your response.

I confess that my interest in the work of the architect Krinsky has an autobiographical motif in it. Krinsky lived for more than half a century in a marriage with a woman called Lyubov. This Lyubov is my great-great-grandmother (she is the sister of my great-grandfather on my father's side). I have heard stories about Krinsky since I was a child, but I never saw him alive.

The 3 Vladimir Krinsky sketches and designs are very interesting, thanks for posting these.
