Merry Christmas to present and former members, Anita, Richard, Johannes, Marlies, and Katerina.
Looking forward to completing our little 3-link chain by....June...maybe?
Whenever those post office cogs beginning turning robustly once again.
So... Now is time near to Xmas, and we have 3 people chain :) I hope all gifts will come in time :)
Dear all :) Dont worry about delivery!
Today I get amazing post card from PASCAL :) So all packages need to be in place... may be not in time, but it is not so important :)
Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat) Hm... don't know what to tell, hope to the best :(
Holiday "gifts" (collage cards) in the mail to many during this time of lockdown...
For the USA and far overseas, many were sent last week in the hope they arrive before Easter ! Mail to the States is soooo slow: real snail mail!
Now first week in December I will send to our European friends, takes 10-14 days to get to Paris, no planes flying, no Air Mail, unless there is a cargo plane...or trucks perhaps.
Happy and safe Holiday Season to all!
Richard Canard :) I understand you :) simply now in Christmas time many of us can't drive to home. Here in Europe we have full lock dawn so, I think, will be good to have more fun...
21.11.20 Dare Ms. Anita, My previous commentary was intended to be friendly sarcasm. Which in turn, is not all together unlike a "gift". I have always believed that sharing ideas, commentary, news clippings, doodles, jokes, drawings , poetry, collages, envelopes, postcards, etc., etc., etc. were presented as a "gift". In other words , that's what "Mail Art" & the I.U.O.M.A. have always been about all along (& on a daily basis). At least , that's my perspective. I do also acknowledge that some folks prefer cuddly teddy bears, colorful ribbons & sweet nothings.--- & to answer your question,: Yes , I'll certainly try to get my act together & send something your way via the mail. All best to you. SinCelery, Richard Canard
Richard Canard thank you for you comment, sorry, I don't understand, you will take part? Take part mean you will send something...
mabb ok :) it is so great!
Now, in this "stay at home time" is so important to feel not alone in the World.. as special in Xmas time. I think we can do a send chain whom, I will update first post to add a chain, if someone will not get nothing I will do post Xmas call in January... So to do all happy :)
