Carina and Theresa, wonderful sketchbooks - and so very different. Thanks for sharing. I've always been fond of accordion style books and homemade books in general.
Was moved by Theresa's closing lines:
"We take the slow way home through
solitary farmland and small towns.
Black fields
and then a white house
with on lights on."
They reminded me a bit of the poems of Helen West Heller - an interesting artist I am especially fond of from the farmlands of Illinois during the early 20th Century.
Here are some off her poems/woodcuts from "Migratory Urge," 1928:

and there is more on the the artist at this website I created for her:
Thanks Theresa. Like your presence in your lines whether you draw or write!
Carina Granlund, welcome to this group. We look forward to viewing your "scribble books" with us. . . Hi Scattergood-More, Would love to join your group! I make my own sketchbooks and use them mostly as scribblebooks, perhaps not so beautiful drawings but... fun!

Sarah, love the sketchbook drawings, especially of the cats and mouse with mushrooms - some of your drawings remind me of Beatrix Potter's art work.
I have put links to some of your sketches on Artists' Sketchbooks Online
