In the context of My Real Wall, how is a wall defined? Can I assume any vertical surface will do? I hope so because I am considering displaying mail art on my front door over the mail box. As it is a glass panel perhaps it should be classified as a window. Am I splitting hairs? Yes I am. I was going to stick my received artwork on the doors of my bookcase but the front door/window has the advantage of exposure to all callers, not just those privileged few admitted to my den.I think this is a very good idea of Andy's. I shall launch The Mail Art Wall Gallery in July.

Since I had no replies, I am answering to mysef. Martha, go ahead and stick around all you want, where ever you ssee a verticla surface, but make sure the police is not around too, as it could be thought as fly posting, a prosecutable offence. i hope if I go to prison still I will be allowed Mail Art.
I think the stipulation for "Vertical" walls leaves out lots of possibilities
A wall that is not vertical, at least fairly vertical, is either a floor or a ceiling. methinks, and depending on the degree of verticability it may constitute a ramp or if broken into steps ( ahem...) it could be a staircase. All of which could be used to stick pictures on.
