Digital Art

A place for digital artists to talk about their art.  We can share information and techniques.  This will also give us a place to talk about the acceptance and sometimes non-acceptance of this new art form.

To answer carl baker, I haven't posted in here because, even though it says "digital art" I wasn't sure if my art actually fit the category because what I do doesn't look like anything the others submitted.

A lot of people say, "It's just Photoshop" in a derisive way. I don't understand why it's not accepted as a legitimate art form. Each one of my pictures takes me hours, sometimes days, to create. They are just as much 'art' as my pen and ink drawings. So, Zentangle is acceptable as art, but Photoshop isn't? This doesn't make sense. Has anyone else experienced this prejudice against our art form?
