Cheryl Penn's "Weaving" chapter for a collaborative mail-art book has some nice asemic ideas too.

Bruno, I said Diane's work was edible. I take that back because I'm not sure.

Guido, that's fantastic. I'm glad you're here. Did you create those symbols? In comparison, here's some ground-breaking work from your friend Diane Keys in the US. I'm just knocked out - an edible-haptic-asemic tablet (aka brownies). Join the DK global Bake Sale performance:

Kitty, those are interesting asemics you posted for sure. Your experience is very similar to mine. I had some fairly narrow views of what this is all about. People have been posting all different kinds of work. That's really broadened my perspectives on language. I never thought about looking at the natural world in this way until now. I didn't see these connections between humans, language, and the environment. I really appreciate you posting those pieces and that you have been exploring it so seriously.

Well, as this idea of asemic writing was and is new to me, I joined the group. Yet since then, though I have tried my hand and brain at it.....nothing produces. I have looked at the amazing art under the terms of this group and am getting a better bigger grasp all the time for sure, and gaining quite a new perspective on things in my environment.

So with my eyes open anew, while walking along the Columbia River, I spotted perhaps the oldest for of asemic writing! Fantastic I am thinking! Here is what I found. I have yet to bring forth my own style but this is progress indeed!

Richard Canard sent me a photocopy of the Rosetta Stone as an "Asemic Readymade Poem." I think it's great.

Marie said I could add some more scans of her textile asemics, taken from her blog. I think it's gorgeous work, breakthrough work:
