Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my artist friends, a complete stranger? Do I put names in a "hat" and pull one randomly? What have you decided to do? This is really, truly, something I've been pondering. Okay, enough, now I'm off to see a movie.

I plan to not repeat recipients. I've got addresses planned for the next two months, and there's always Sendsomething.net after that.

I try not to plan much of anything. Having a daily mail art practice is hard enough on it's own. But that being said, it is rare for me to mail the same person in a month, or even two months. It's a balance between trying to maintain correspondence (it's kinda rude not to reply to people when they mail me) and trying to reach as many people as possible. But for the first 3 months, I only repeated two people.

Jumping in late on the conversation here, but have decided to collect everyone's addresses from the "MA365 addresses" thread and I'll be sending to them. When I get to the end of the list, I'll just start all over again! So here's my question: do I have your mailing address? I know some of you are already in my little black book... :-)

Hi Jennie!

Thank you for#7! I will be replying shortly.. :)

Thanks Jennie for taking on the addresses. You have mine! I have yours! Check my blog, I just did a link to you. I was very happy to see you here.

Thanks so much for the link to RLD; I super-appreciate it! Just put your card in the mail today, am trying like mad to get Dec. 1-9 MA365 photos up...I have a sneaking suspicion it will happen this weekend... :-)

I had a particular person that I wanted to send my first card to, but I don't have their address and they didn't get it to me and I was too impatient to wait. I figured I'll have 364 more chances to get them a card and if  I get hung up on not sending a card because I can't send the first one out to the person I wanted, then it is going to be a tough and long road ahead.
Now I'm thinking who my number 100 will go to. I'm almost there. I'm not counting individual cards, if I made them on one day (using the a, b, c, etc) so I'm actually sent more than 100 but that number on a card will be momentous for me. Who to send it to? hmmm?
I've been adding people to my list, though repeating mailings to many people in our group and other groups. I send significant dates or card numbers to certain people. It's like touching base. I can't believe that those of us who started 1 Dec. are halfway there.

YAY! Half-way mark. I like the sound of that!

I have mailing list completed, up until July 3 already....

any special American want a mail art card for the Fourth? ;-) (Mim?)

Since that day is 2 days after my birthday, any card I get will be special! Sure!
Done ;-)
