Dear IUOMA people,

Today, I wonder, if you are a discriminative type of person or a type of person who suspect /has doubts more or less on certain other IUOMA members ?

I happen to be Asian myself and so I am sensitive on these issues more or less.

For example, I have sent friend requests before and it seemed like most members did accept the requests by me but there are actually several members who may have ignored my friend  requests.  I noticed they were online more than once  after I sent friend requests to them.

  

Am I over-thinking about it ?? 🤔

I usually try not to think about this issue because the majority of IUOMA people really seem nice but at the same, this issue is something on my mind that I cannot seem to cast aside, because in the real world, there really seem quite many discriminative type of people. Well, at least, I made this discussion thread public. We all are free to express our feelings and thoughts here.  And also, Ana, Yes, I received a very pretty card you created. I'm glad you liked my mail art and to know that it arrived in Japan. Since I hadn't seen anything posted, I thought it hadn't arrived yet... I like knowing that people receive what I send and that it doesn't get lost somewhere in the world. If you need anything, I'd be happy to help 😊

In my opinion the reason to be on iuoma is to exchange art and thoughts etc. with other world-citizens.
I also delete unanswered friend-requests after a while and think they might have other priorities at that moment. I think it's normal to think about the reasons why the other person did not accept the request. But we can not know the reason. Could be anything. Most likely not the reason we think about (I hope).

yes there is a lack of people from a lot of countries on iuoma - it's not only countries...it's whole regions who are not to be found here.
I know that because I researched the whole IUOMA-member-list for (active) mailartists some months ago on that topic.
