DESCRIPTION:Due to the expense of mailing these, I will not be sending
  any china overseas. :(\n \nBoth of my Polish grandparents lived thro
 ugh Nazi Germany.\nMy grandpa used to tell stories about the war and o
 ne of them was about working in the china factory, where after they we
 re done eating they would just toss the plates out the window because 
 they were worthless during the wartime.\nTo me this story is a beautif
 ul representation of the destructive forces at work during that time p
 eriod, and i would love to capture it in my own art.\nWe have a set of
  fine china given to us by my grandparents for our wedding, and we don
 't host parties at all, we're just not that kind of people. we've hung
  on to the dishes for going on ten years and i've decided this is how 
 best to get rid of them.\n \nIf you would like to receive a (most pro
 bably broken or chipped) piece of our wedding gift, please RSVP with t
 he promise you will return the favor by sending back a piece of your o
 wn artwork to my grandparents, who hang on to life by thinner threads
