Event Description

I'm am so excited to announce the first ever Trashpo Mail Art Call ! Well, at least the first one I have ever had. Art will be presented as a portable display that will travel to different venues around the City of Elgin throughout the year. The exhibit will begin at City Hall January 2013. Please send your 2D works of art made from trash or found objects to:

Comment by DKeys on July 11, 2012 at 12:35pm: I know Dean, it sucks that it has to be 2D but I only have a large-ish bulletin board to use so it can be portable -front and back. The exhibit starts January 1, 2013 and the deadline is December 1, 2012. It starts at City Hall and will also be featured at the Elgin Green Expo where all the tree huggers convene once a year to squawk about carbon footprints. Trashpo is going public thanks to you guys!
