DESCRIPTION:This month I have been mailing out a new mail art series o
 f postcards about the Transcontinental Arrows. These were the concrete
  arrows placed across the sparsely populated U.S. West in order to hel
 p guide early airmail flights.\nMore about the series on my blog.\n \
 nThis has made me think about the idea of creating more mail art that 
 also tells some aspect of postal history. Does anyone else create mail
  art that tells some of his or her country’s postal history?  Or wo
 uld you want to create a piece?\n \nThe mail art based on postal hist
 ory I receive between now and July 31, 2015 will be cataloged and pres
