DESCRIPTION:COLLAGE OPEN CALL “Pocket William”\n \n“Pocket Will
 iam” is an exhibition project dedicated to the 260th anniversary of 
 the birth of William Shakespeare. The project is organized in the exhi
 bition space of the A.P. Chekhov Library of St. Petersburg.\n \nDeadl
 ine\nSubmission of works is from September 10 till October 28, 2024.\n
 The list of selected works will be published on the project page (http
 ://williamvkarmane.tilda.ws) no later than October 31, 2024.\nThe exhi
 bition will be held from November 8 till November 30, 2024.\n \nTheme
 s for collages\n\nWILLIAM IN THE POCKET\n\nAssociations related to the
  name of the writer, his image, as well as inspired by Shakespeare's e
 ra (16th century, Renaissance era).\n\nA MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM\n\nMe
 taphors and allusions to the works of William Shakespeare.\n\nTO BE OR
  NOT TO BE\n\nCollages closely related to texts and referring to speci
 fic plots, images, quotations, or illustrations of favorite works or e

 ration\n\nEveryone is invited to participate in the exhibition project
 .\n\nNumber of works submitted\n\nEach participant can submit up to 3 
 collages.\n\nTypes of works\n\nCreative artworks for the Exhibition Pr
 oject can be submitted both in paper and in digital form. Paper works 
 are accepted in A.P. Chekhov Central Regional Library at the following
  address: St. Petersburg, Turku St. 11, bldg. 1 or sent by mail: 19207
 1, St. Petersburg, Turku St. 11, bldg.1, Russia.\nRecipient: A.P. Chek
 hov Central Regional Library, in the subject line of the letter it is 
 necessary to specify - project “William in the pocket”. Digital wo
 rks are sent through the application form (google-form).\n \n\nHow to
  pick up the artwork\n\nAfter the end of the exhibition, the participa
 nt has the opportunity to pick up their work by December 31, 2024. The
 re is no postal mailing of the works back.\n \n\nPrinting of the artw
 orks\n\nCreative artworks sent digitally will be printed by the organi
 zer without guarantee of accurate color reproduction.\n \n\nArtwork a
 ttachments\n\nThe works should be accompanied by: a title, a brief des
 cription of the idea of the work, a video or an audio message of the a
 uthor with a story about themselves and their artwork.\n \nTechnical 
 requirements\n\nFormat of the work\n\nThe size of the creative artwork
  is strictly A5, vertical orientation. Paper and digital collages are 
 accepted.\n\nRequirement for artworks in digital form:\n\n300 dpi, siz
 e 1748x2480 px, two files: for printing CMYK - tiff and for placing on
  the site and social networks RGB - jpeg.\nTiff files: one layer.\nOnl
