DESCRIPTION:L’art au Lavoir 2023 Open call to all artists.\nAfter th
 e success of last years L’art au lavoir, I am pleased to announce a 
 third edition this summer. The idea is for artists (professional or am
 ateur) to send me a postcard sized piece of art/collage/mixed media/ph
 oto/poem etc. This years theme is 'Fire', with many wildfires last yea
 r in France and around the world, you could depict the environmental i
 mpact on the planet, regeneration after a fire. The beauty and colours
  of flames, volcanos and lightning these are just a few examples of ma
 ny. I want to bring awareness to the planet’s enviromental challenge
 s, at the same time bringing a creative experience, enriched by art fr
 om around the world. I will create a free outdoor exhibition of these 
 artworks at the lavoir (old wash house), in Dun-Le-Palestel, France.\n
 Please send artworks to, le lavoir projet, 4 Rue De Dunet, Dun-Le-Pale
 stel, 23800, France. Put your name and address on the back with any co
 ntact details, and an arrow indicating which way up the piece should b
 e displayed. The exhibition will take place in July and August 2023, s
 o works need to get to me before the end of June. Unfortunately artwor
 ks will not be able to be returned, unless you are in collecting dista
 nce, and state this on the back. Any sales of any of the works will go
  towards promotion of the project and earth related charities. There i
 s also always a small risk that some of the artwork could be stolen, a
 s this is an open air event in a public place. So I can not take any r
 esponsibility for this, but I'm counting on the honesty and conscience
