SUMMARY:Call for Art- Don Quixote Migrations
DESCRIPTION:\nMigration and exile is a constant force creating shiftin
 g landscapes of identity, inclusion and exclusion. Society views the m
 igrant as stranger in its midst: a stranger that is either assimilated
  or feared. Who is the stranger? What is the stranger searching for or
  fleeing? Don Quixote shifts the perspective from settlement to explor
 er, whether exiled or migrating through the boundaries of historical s
 ituations or our rapidly changing global context. Create art using the
  altered book form, or mail art (not to exceed size 8\"x11\" or A4) to
  be exhibited in both the United States and Chile in 2016. Start imagi
 ning and creating now. Details about art/literary/cultural exhibitions
  and where to send the art will be announced summer 2015. No jury, no 
 return. All art becomes property of the Quixote project to be curated 
 for future exhibitions and symposiums on migration and exile. To parti
 cipate, please send jpegs of your art, your name and link to your webs
 ite or contact info to be posted on the Don Quixote blog to donquixote
