Back in the swing in 2020!

The last three months of 2019 were absolutely nuts for me, so my mail art output slowed to an absolute snail's crawl. I was but a tiny whisk tasked with an industrial sized mixing bowl! The good news is that's all past me now and I am BACK BABY!If you've sent me mail art at any point and still haven't gotten anything back, rest assured you're in my inbox and I am dreaming up all kinds of fun things for 2020. Also, I bought a light box and I have made the resolution to post a pic of every mail…See More

Ask Anything

There are a lot of basic questions on Mail Art that are often asked and answered. This group might be the first place to look for answers. I will do my best to answer, but hope that other members can help out as well.

Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I love any and all mail art- if it's in my mailbox it's automatically awesome. Also, SEND ME YOUR WEIRD SHIT.

My 2020 Resolution: Post every piece of Mail Art I get!

I believe in the ridiculous, the random, the surprising, and the wonderful freedom of art being anything that's created and loved by its creator.

"I don't create art to accomplish anything. I do it for my own mental health. I share it with the world because it's comforting to know there are people out there who are invested. People who feel seen in it." -Hatecopy AKA Maria Qamar

"Mail-art is a punk rock, you do it because you love it and if others find and enjoy what you're doing, all the better." -Jon Foster

The huge Falls Church - Patland geographical gap does not longer exist due to a hansome mail art.  It´s homework time in Republik van Patland. Best.

Earthling, this may be the last but certainly, it´s not the least welcome message to IUOMA you are going to receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly uncharted corner of the faraway universe called “Republik van Patland”. I would love to be the other end if you wish to trade mail art with a celestial mail artist.  If that is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

The Celestial Scribe
Terrene Embassy
Republik van Patland
Caixa Postal 461
Curitiba-PR
80011-970
Brazil

I look forward to seeing a piece of yours in my terrene mailbox. I´ll do my homework after receiving your artwork. This is nothing less than a celestial promise.  I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van Patland Official Envelope Provider.
