People should cover their face, not the streets... I don't understand why people use this throw-away- masks anyway.

04.09.20 Dare Borderline G., ..."a sign of the times". Great photo.Thanks for sharing & attempting to wake up & encourage America to open it's eyes. For months now, I seen "the discarded mask" in the streets & parking lots of Carbondale. Like Ms. Patricia Landon, I share an interest in litter ( the authentic litterature of  the Great United States of America).  Presently, there seems to be an equal status with  the  plastic drink cup-tops (with the plastic straw thru the middle) and the 'masks' here in Carbondale Middle America (although I have never dared to pick up a covid mask).  I've always found the morning after a night  of  "Trick or Treat" to be the most appealing & forgivable time for litter hunting (But, I don't recall ever finding a Halloween mask). how timely,was just thinking of some of the things one finds discarded these days as opposed to 20 or 40 years ago!
