Thx Richard - the scan would lead you to believe there is a flat or cohesive surface. Actually it's a lot more chaoti, layered, gutted. Thx again

DK, thanks for your excellent question and your overwhelming enthusiasm about Matt's collaboration w/me.

A core of Matt's style is this gritty, industrial textual distortion. That turns up in a lot of my concrete work. Environmentally, we are - more-or-less - Rust Belt dwellers. So I saw an affinity early on. I am glad we finally were able to collab on set pieces.
