YAY! I can tell you ONE wish that I made yesterday on my new "Lite Wishing Sticks",

and it came true in the mail delivery today! Wha hooooo! :-)

I need not say a word...I'll say two: THANK YOU! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bonjour Katerina! You are no doubt right not to tell us your wishes -- keeping them to yourselves may ensure that they are granted.

You don't have to call your sticks 'wishing sticks', and you could, of course, come up with your own name for them. Now that could be interesting...

What are you going to do with your stick when you have painted them? Add other things to them? Mail them out?

Happy Thursday, Val

They are very light weight and thin but hollow, maybe a type of reed.

They are sold at IKEA but from India.

And I shall paint them soon and make good wishes :-)

Wow! Wot a lot you got!

Where did you get them from?

What type of wood is it? (I use bamboo for my Wishing Sticks)

To paint or not to paint?

PAINT 'EM!

If you don't you can't wish on them, and so your wishes won't ever come true

to paint them, or not to paint them?

From Dusty Springfield's "Wishing and hoping":

"Just wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin'
Plannin' and dreamin' his kiss is the start
That won't get you into his heart one of his Wishing Sticks"
