This went to Italy and came back to Sydney and was re-sent to Germany....envelopes wandering the world in search of a recipient sometimes disappearing into the Dark Holes of the world's postoffices constituting a museum of possibilities but denied a public. Claire for Cleo,   I am guessing you mean poetic in the romance tradition.  I think it is poetic like it is poetic to lose your new bride to the clutch of Dracula.....but, then, I am inclined to melodramatize.
