Thanks for the Iowa City hamburger stand. I've actually been to Iowa City but never saw anything so cool. The reverse of the card is fabulous. The legs one was to strive for would now be considered too fat, oh those look like MY legs. The thin legs are the ones now strived for. How times change, eh?

Creeping people out and losing friends--well it's one way to keep your intimate population at a manageable level. I could have used it in my shop. Yes, Peaches was found running with a pack of wild dogs in Arizona and not faring well. A fellow student drove her back across the country to our school in his VW bug. Eventually I ended up with her. She went to classes with me and was well educated, and lived 19 years. She loved cars forever after her trip with Stewart, but I didn't have one all that time. So when walking down the street, she would jump into any stranger's car if the door was open. It was a helluva time getting her out.

A tiny skeleton in a coffin in Nebraska. My guess is that was unexpected. It would make good mail art now, unless it's worth half a million. My dog in those days drove across country too, but not with me. Your dog was lucky.

The thing is, your mind is interesting, so I figured it would give you a good time even if also a dangerous time. Just being logical. You know. But speed, that doesn't sit well for many of us, me included! You could take a slow trip, if you're not in a movie right now!

Nadine ! What a nice lot came from you today, thank you. Never a dull moment. Thanks especially for the Reagan pc; I never did get enough of him. The 1955 card carved by your mother of the family--that is deeply precious. She must have been really something ...
