Hey Katerina - just a quick note to say that we received part 1 of your awesome 2 part series yesterday! It was precious!

We posted mail from the postal museum in Paris and that's why your postcard has a special postmark on it. I was curious what it would be, and it turns out to be related to the current exhibit "Sorcieres" which is very popular. In fact, there was a line out the door to get tickets. A real surprise, since the postal museum is usually quite empty. Now, I'm home, and will be back to making mail art in a couple of days.

I'm pretty sure it arrived around Valentine time, thank you. I *always* open MA immediately, am not one of those savoring-the-mystery people, haha, but was taking care of family stuff and fell behind not only on blogging but also acknowledging too! Terrible. That won't happen again. You need some kind of award for more mileage out of the handmade paper than I or anyone else could imagine!  You are VERY welcome for it.  oxo n.

Still not good, am resenting the ageing process but have not, as yet, found a way of reversing it. I eat two apples a day (to get ahead of the doctors)  and go for long walks.

Glad you liked the cards, there are two new ones made already!

Off to Iceland next week, hope cold fresh Icelandic air will clear the winter cobwebs from my tired brain

Leigh Bowery was a performance artist and fashion designer who was orginally from Australia but moved to the UK in the early '80's. 

Bowery worked with boy George and was also painted several times by Lucien Freud.
