Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Well I did make some progress today and found another lost item.  I don't intend on keeping a storage unit although it is tempting.  Our house is ancient, our attic full and our garage is not attached.

Met DH for coffee this afternoon and we both had eye appointments.  So it turned out to be a good day after all.  He just made dinner for me.

TY, Mc, Maab & Mim....my triple M friends.  :-)  It felt good to blow off a little steam!  (())

Well said, Mcfloozy and Mim!  If it gets too overwhelming, p-lily, just store everything!  Maybe get the reno project done, and then take time to sort the storage unit?  You must consider, tho, that this advice comes from a storage unit renter who only thinks about the storage unit when she passes it on her walks!  :(

Katerina, Woody Guthrie's spirit hovers about you, you train-person, you!

help - can't find BrisChris address. Anyone?   Good luck, prettylily, sounds daunting. Breathe deeply and stay calm and carry on (sorta quoting the Queen!)

Ok, I need some focus.  I expect total choas as we embark on a home improvement project.  My task over the next two weeks is to clear TWO (2) rooms of art materials.  What do I keep?  What do I store?  This is so hard.  We rented a storage unit this weekend and have schlepped boxes of frames, extra easels; items I can live without for now.  It's overwhelming me!!!!!!

On a lighter note......Barbie's missing crown was found during this process.  I know a little girl who will delighted over that news!

Is anyone having trouble getting their pictures to show up on the little box on our blog page? I seem to be having trouble when I use the new blogger formate but it is ok when I use the old formate. Has anyone else had this problem? What am I doing wrong?

and we are singing:

"Freight train, freight train,

going so fast Freight train,

freight train, going so fast

Please don't tell what train I'm on

So they won't know where I'm gone.,,"

Oh, thank you, Sue...'love train stamps and have only these old trains

on US postage from the 80's.

(look carefully at that big "freight train" of rubber stamps that I sent Ruud, you will notice, upper right, it was sent for July 1,,,#213 / 365!)

So Katerina has everyone dancing today?  Love the latest train!  Ruud will love it.  As I write this, I see above me Mim and Katerina cards.  Still hand and hand - skipping happily toward the finish line.....

Katerina, I will have to keep my eye open for locomotive stamps, for you.  If I turn up any, I will be sure to shoot them your way.  <3

Meanwhile I hope you guys don't get "Locomotive Breath" with all of the happy singing and dancing going on..........ha, ha.....

Cat Stevens sang "Peace Train!"  I was madly in love with him during my high school years - can't believe he never found me!

Katerina, thanks for posting those lyrics for Locomotion - I'll be singing today, too, and dancing....love your latest train!
