What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Now, I am thinking I'll carve something and make a PEACE train. Who sang that?

Andy and Elena...great pics with Dewi! Looks like good food, too!

And I see from the shorts and T-shirts...UK STILL has that warm weather I brought from Greece, yes? ;-)

Conjunction Junction is precious, thanks Mim! And I sing along to "Locomotion"

"Now that you can do it let's make a chain now
Come on, baby, do the locomotion
Chug-a-chug-a motion like a railroad train now
Come on, baby, do the locomotion
Do it nice and easy now and don't lose control
A little bit of rhythm and a lot of soul
Come on, come on, do the locomotion with me..."

And here is a BIG locomotion train sent to Ruud for his rubber stamp archives,

it's my "Train of Thought":

Received this wonderful card from spopod today (# 168). I love it and will take it in to show another group of year 7 up and coming mail artists. THANK YOU.

Great pictures of Dewi in England!  What fun - delicious food and mail-art company.

Anybody want to meet up in Hawaii?  :)  I am planning a trip there in the spring...c'mon, everybody, shake your booties!

Prettylily - I don't know the song Conjunction Junction, but Katerina's train does remind me of Cat Stevens' Peace Train.  And the spicier Locomotion!  In any case, I LOVE her stamps, and the arrangement.

Hooray for the 365ers!  And esp. those who sent mail to Sandy in Chile....I am not one of them.  :(  Maybe one of these days.  When I first started doing this in June, I could not believe there were folks who went awol for weeks at a time, not posting, etc.  Now I am one of those!!!!  Wahhh!  Wha' happened?  Working hard today to start catching up....

Hi all!! (** BIG WAVE **). Me again.

I skyped my daughter Sandy in Chile, and she was so excited to have received mail from me, and some mailart from you too! She got a TinyTown! Thank you MIM, and a wonderful sketch from Dewi! Thank you so much. She was surprised. She waved them past the camera to show me. Her words: "I just can't even start to explain MailArt to these people..."

Mailart365ers are the best. Thank you for bringing more sunshine to Chile.

THANK YOU to those who sent mailart to my daughter, Sandy, in Chile! She returned from some field trip to the south, and had a nice assortment of mail. Thanks so much. To read of her adventures, and find her mailing address...
