Open Call for Artist dedicated to GENDER DIFFERENCE

The gallery VISIONI ALTRE in Venice  in collaboration with the collettive AE in Rome, invites artists to reflect on the theme contestualizing it in their socio-geographical framework.
The topics of research and reflection are: WOMAN’S RIGHTS AND THE LGBTQ+ COMUNUITY

This call is made in collaboration also with Guenda Mai a grad student in Economics and Art Management at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. All the works recived by the artist will rapresent an important sourse for her  thesis paper.

All the material will be exhibited at the Visioni Altre gallery in Venice from 15 to 30 January 2021, and then will be kept in the archive of Visioni Altre for future events.

 

Photographs and news of the works and the event will be published on the internet page of the gallery: www.visionialtre.com and on the facebook page of VISIONI ALTRE

Collective book of mail art.


Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...

Each participant will receive a volume.

Deadline: october, 2010.

Since it's a commercial gallery with overhead I suppose it's a sort of registration fee to help cover expenses....not too steep. The 5X7 board standardizes everything I guess (not sure if that's good or bad)
Just thought it fit in well with your interests.

The 6th World's Poetry Festival 2009 will take place on june and july as a tribute to a venezuelan Poet named Juan Calzadilla (National Prize of Plastic Arts 1996).

VISUAL POETRY:

Collage, visual poems, process poetry, illustrated poetry, labyrinth poems, phonetic poems, audible poems, semiotic, palindrome, holopoems, concrete poetry, video action, photo action, object poem, pseudovisual poetry, braille poetry.

VIDEO, SHORTFILM, DOCUMENTARY, ANIMATION:

All videos will be admitted, shortfilms, photography, documentaries, animations that do not exceed 8 minutes of length and they must be delivered on CD or DVD format ready for its presentation.

MULTIMEDIA EXPRESSION:

They will be admitted on CD or DVD format ready for its presentation including the credits, the photography, the list of the soundtrack that was used and the name of the author.

AUDIO FORMAT:

the audio format admitted has to be:
Wave 44,100 Hz 16 bit stereo
Mp3 from 96 'til 320 KPSS
If the expression is audible, high fidelity required.

No I didn't ...DAMN!! If it had one of your drawings on it ,it probably got piked (sixties for stolen) they're so nice.
I stopped going to your blog after seeing my card on top of the pile for so long. Not like it's the Billboard charts.
Keep an eye on Staples. They're almost giving the scanners away these days. You can pick up a little 4-1 for
under $60.00.
