Wonderful! So glad the hare poste arrived safely (and FAST, it seems!... but hares are fast, aren't they?). I will look forward to discovering your artistic treasure in my mailbox. And, yes, we should continue; a blessing to have a new mail art friend abroad...
Thessaloniki to Mission Control: Number 1 Space mailing for April 1 (No.122/365) has landed at Sigean? YAY! Lift-off of other space crafts and expect another arrival by April12th (Mission Commander gets two, plus accummulated stamp-astroids by the thousands!)
The four-stamp set of "Benefiting Mankind" shall be on all Space mailing
and sandpo collage elements will differ from card to card. Good for Go?
Hi Val, I have to learn to check my messages. One would think after working with computers for twenty-five plus years I would have that figured out. Unfortunately, one would be wrong. I even (much less so!) forget to look in my mailbox on occasion. Sigh. Of course, in my defence there are many, many more places in the digital world for messages to be placed (and I am easily distracted) but still...
Anyway, a postcard will be going into the maw of the Postal System today. I just discovered yesterday that a whole batch of mailart I sent out was sent with insufficient postage but it has been almost two weeks since then and I haven’t got the stuff back so I’m hoping it will arrive at the intended recipients!
Not worry about posting images - I’m not very good at that either.
Sorry. The Beverly Hillbilly's Granny never was among the members here, altho' her delight in chewing 'possum stew was legendary back in the 60's. We prefer to take our garlic (yum!) snail-free, as would any sane diner. I am beginning to think what I sent has gone missing-- a pity, as we sent along an antique postage stamp in the bargain. :(
I even had a talk with the Post Mistress about the safety of several articles sent out with yours, all for various parts, mostly in the USA. If it got "et", it most likely met its fatal doom en route from here to France. In which case, we blame the snail-munching French for this entirely.
Sincerely
Eye of Newt and Wing of Bat with Hollandaise and just a pinch of nutmeg
Bonjour Val and thank you for your welcome message. I will certainly join the Solidarity with Japan group and I would be delighted to exchange some mail art with you - your address is next in line for a sending!
