SOME BORING -- AND RATHER STRANGE -- POSTCARDS

1. The Dinsosaur Museum, England

2. A Bird on a Windowsill

3. A Bird that Has Got off a Windowsill and is Thinking About Stealing the Peanut from the Squirrel

4. This is called 'Headquarters' (and your guess is as good as mine)

5. This is called 'Training for a Better World' (and it is quite obvious why, in this Better World, you need to run around naked with a blanket over your head)

This starts out as a Naughty French Boring Postcard (if there is such a thing)...

....but then opens up to be neither a Postcard nor particularly Naughty nor even Boring (but I thought you ight like to see it)

FOUR OLD BLACK AND WHITE SORT-OF-BORING FRENCH POSTCARDS I FOUND IN A BOOKSHOP TODAY

1; A game of Boules at Marenens (France) 'The Capital of Oysters'. The ladies in the foreground -- and their dog -- look very bored.

2. The (grain?) Silos from Bram (France). Sometimes you have to wonder why anyone would bother to make a postcard of such a Boring building, and/or why anyone would buy it, and/or who would they send it to?

3. A road -- le Faubourg des Auberges -- in Capestang, France. This Boring Postcard features a pile of stones (pavés?) front left, and an ugly white building. The rest? A few trees and a road sign.

4. A group of schools from Montreal (Montreal, Aude, France, not Montreal, Quebec, Canada). Very boring indeed. Perhaps the Church/Cathedral in the background is more interesting.
