They're just like your 30 sec scrap art. No thought, just bundle up your ideas in mid sentence.

Here is one from the Dean archives. His art was always saved for last because it required much more brain cell activation to take in his historical tidbits, personal narrative, and humor. getting tire treads from France. Guess this is what I meant when I said the glory days .Keith asked..I guess I mean of trashpo and Dkult and everyone I formed close personal relationships w here. We created a place that ended up feeling very real to me where no distance separated. Mail Only also collapsed space. Made the world smaller and more meaningful. Just like they believed the internet would simplify life, that was before it BECAME life. Fukbook splitified w it's Al gore idioms and brain invading. maybe I have become a lludite.  So  I'll just post  the art

I've always LOVED your trashbook idea and your trashbooks/trashpo etc. Am thinking about trashbooks because my art is getting tense and I can't untense it (maybe it's the times...) -- also because they're a blast.

Great summary of Dean's art, Diane. Didn't Kat post a blog of a recent piece of his? Maybe he's inching back in. Very tempting to send him something nuts despite his declared retirement.

Where is Dean these days Kat? his art always so polished yet wonderfully absurd

A favorite trashbook from Diane Keys, probably the first she ever sent me (in 2011):

"Trash vortex" is a mind-blower. Oh the dizziness.

The avocado is a mystery ... ?

Oh the very ripe avocado, just how I like them. Some crushed garlic and olive oil. Mmmm!

You did not throw it away?
