I hadn't even considered that these were hand-printed. How silly of me. I should have thought of that! :-) I guess running TP through a printer could potentially be a disaster. Well anyway, I really like your project and it looks awesome!
Jennifer, what an interesting project! I can't imagine trying to print on toilet paper with my printer! I'd probably have a huge mess. :-)
wow, those are really impressive jennifer! i hope we end up in the same issue.
These all look fun and fascinating! I am going to check them all out. Thanks again!
Thank you for your answer to my question, William! I appreciate it.
Terry,
Usually, there is some sort of open call for work. Often ongoing.
You can find info about Circulaire 132 here:
http://circulaire132.blogspot.com/
You just send 25 pieces of the same size/format(work is usually ATC size or smaller) to Reg and get a copy of the zine back.
There's also KART or WIPE.
For KART you send in 40 pieces postcard size or smaller(roughly 4x6 inches). Same address as above for WIPE.
Picasso Gaglione also puts out a rubber stamp assembling zine called Stampzine. 20 pages 8x5 inches. Must include rubber stamp work. And There's an assembling zine out of the UK run by Nicola Winborn called Attic. Same size and number as Stampzine, but it has a color theme. The current color is green. I believe the deadline for Attic is sometime in January.
I believe there are also some assembling projects out of Greece. Hopefully Katerina will pop in with her two bits on different projects she knows about.
I see that Robin Jeree asked the same question back in October that I was about to ask today. Can someone please let us know in how to get involved with assembling zines? Thank you!
