Thanks, Patricio, for checking in on this.

When I discovered this group I fell in love immediately. Being located "somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean", such an unusual address, moved me. I sent an email to the post office last Friday.  This is the answer:                                                                                                                           "Dear Patricio
Yes I know about this group. I was asked by Morice Marcuse before this group was created.
We have already received lots of mail art. However we were unable to make the display last year as our Post Office & Tourism Centre was severely damaged by a storm. We just managed to get back into the Centre before Christmas and is hoping to have the mail art displayed  this year.

Kind regards
Iris

Likewise for my mailing. Think I'll send another one to see if it or both eventually arrive. The building's certainly not a very nice site. :(

Carolyn, thanks for inquiring about the exhibit. So sad to hear that their building was damaged in stormy weather. When did you send your mail art? I sent mine in the later part of May and my name is not on the list.

Great image Carmen! And, yes Carmela, I use markers - but permanent markers. They ink isn't usually affected by water, but does bleed when other solvents are applied.

Sending this from my series, "Saying Goodbye to Winter" to Tristan da Cunha. Bon voyage!

Thanks for your comment, John G. Like your abstract postcard--looks like you used markers on wet paper creating interesting bleeds of ink.

On its way: A happy abstract (any which way is up) 2019

It looks like they have a friendly looking group of people working at the post office: https://www.tristandc.com/postoffice.php
