most of these were bought or given to me. i have hand carved eraser stamps before, but they are a lot more rough than these. the cancellation mark("fomica post") i had made a few years ago. and the person on the open wide artistamp is one i had made late last year.

I agree it is most definitely a fantastic stamp!  William did you make that yourself?

He could be a "book maker"...but in the US that would make him a gambler? 

Well, monk or not, he is definitely working with books. Nice stamp!

you're welcome! i don't think i realized he was binding books. i just thought of him as a monk. but i think you may be right. :)
