It looked a lot more 3D "in person" but also graphics were pretty primitive in VR environments a decade or more ago. (Reveals a glimpse of her deep geekdom).

Comment by Linda Rogers on September 11, 2018 at 8:37am: This brings back a memory of a very early VR experience in Second Life, in 2006 or 2007, a 3D model maker from Algeria made a flying Citroen and took my avatar for a spin. Here we are flying over his construction area. Perhaps you had to be there :-)
