ERRE SE...

@FinnBadger, also I still have to find out how my phone's voice recorder works :-)

Looking forward / curious to know what Intransferível's collection of audio recordings will look listen like!

Heleen, I did record my purchase at a self check out and sent it already! I learned that my phone has a voice recorder on it for the first time... my phone is smarter than me.

(the text above, I mean. The 'erre-es', I don't know either - maybe part of a larger poem?)

It says that you have to go to buy bananas at a local (shop I think). 2. When arriving at the local, take the recorder part of your mobile phone. 3. Buy bananas and record the sound. 4. Send the captured audio and the address of the banana seller to the following number (preferably using Whatsapp), then the phone number of Intransférivel is  mentioned. 5. Enjoy your bananas.

(sorry I don't really speak Portuguese but I learned some by singing)

That's OK, a lot of poetry in not very translatable :)

I love these little 'poems' - and the conversation around them.

I don't know, I'm afraid this is not very translatable.  Even in Portuguese, 'erre-se' on it's own doesn't mean much.  I assume it was just meant to sound poetic or something.  Maybe Intransferível could give us a better translation of it ;)

Hi, Ana. That doesn't translate very well. I am not sure if 'Question yourself' is closer?

Comment by Ana Kawajiri on February 21, 2017 at 9:19pm

'Mistake yourself' I think.

Finn, I like your idea of sending it to someone else, I think I might do that too (:

Erre es might be 'This is a mistake', not too sure.
