Post boxes

In my holidays I took photos of public post boxes sometimes, but sometimes I forgot it. Feel free to upload your own, but not letter boxes please.

Good question, but it did look like an official Royal Mail box. I think it is there so the people staying at this 4/5 star hotel can't be bothered to post letters in those common red mailboxes.  Besides, it's cold outside!

I'll check the next time I stay there.

Did you see who empties it? Is it a Royal Mail person or do the hotel staff take the contents outside to an official box?

Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France.  When a post box was a work of art.

Found in 65150 Cantaous, France.  A village so small they don't even have a proper yellow French post box.

Royal Mail celebrated Bradley Wiggins Olympic gold medal win by painting two iconic red post boxes gold in Eccleston and Chorley.

I think Bradley Wiggins is one of those guys who rides a bicycle without falling off.  Anyway, I hear about the gold mail box and made a detour to see it and post some mail art.
