I've received the "desert garden" starters back from res and, as requested, I've added a mirror carp to each card.

I really like the way this pair turned out --- that was an excellent suggestion, res! I'll put your card in the mail on Monday.

In the meantime, here's how this "group project" is shaping up. Very nice!

In case you were wondering, here's what the original photo looks like. I printed two copies and cut each one into eight ATC-sized pieces.

I recently sent out eight buddy jam duo starters that I made by cutting up one of my large photos, which I printed twice. The completed jams have started to come back to me.

The card on the left was completed by C.Z. Lovecraft, and the one on the right by Amy Irwen. I like the way they fit together!

Erin, I've never seen faces cut from playing cards before. It looks like a great idea to me! :-) I'd love to do a duo or trio with you...whichever you prefer. Thank you!

Your comment made me laugh right out loud. But...seriously?! I thought that's what a person was supposed to do! How else would one do the buddy jam....sending one back and keeping one? I loved your original idea on that, by the way. So cool!!

Erin, I'd be interested in doing a "face card" buddy jam. Either a duo or a trio would work for me.
