Linda, I really thought I had replied to your very nice comment to me, but I couldn't find a reply from me anywhere, so I think I didn't and I'm sorry for not replying right away. I think ning can be a little complex sometimes with so many places to post and read messages. Anyway, Thank you so much for commenting to me about my stamps and collages. I know I was looking at your posted art and then I may have been distracted from completing that viewing and making my reply. There is a lot of your art I like as well, and I would love for us to make postcards for each other based on circles, since we are both in the circles group. I love circles! and I love triangles but didn't see a group for that.
Linda--thanks for asking and i don't mind replying. You've posted a number of photos lately and your work caught my eye. Actually I've 'favorited' at least 2-- But specifically 'chipping sparrow' and 'revelatory captions' demonstrate your drawing skills. Drawing is a favorite technique of mine and I've been doing more lately-it is my first love. Your use of watercolor in several of your animal sketches is well done--again a favorite media of mine. But you don't see it too much in my mail art. So I guess you could say that I sensed a kindred art spirit.
I've been getting back to basics in my drawing. You can see my efforts, some more successful than others (especially the 12/20/24 sketch) at http://carmelasketch.blogspot.com
Hi Linda--the bicycle-based image does lend itself to imaginative interpretations--thanks for your comment. BTW: your imagery is wonderful, I'm glad that you decided to follow your creative instincts!
Wow! What a cool laminated postcard you sent me, Linda! Thanks so much. I can see lamination opening up all kinds of possibilities for postcards, for those who can do it. :-) Thank you, too, for the wonderful painted papers, ephemera, and T.O. initials. I love paper and the ones you sent are welcome indeed. Thanks again!
Received the great junk journal you sent. You're a sweet and generous mail buddy, thank you so much. I'm going to have fun messing around with this soon. The variety of papers are cool. And the envelope...love it. Why is it that seeing one's own name and initials on things never fails to bring a smile? ;-)
Oh Linda, I really like the new look here on your profile. Bravo. And I received your mail today. Am smitten with the goodies, especially the painted papers. Love painted papers. The "bad poetry" is great. Not epic in the technical sense, but epic in subject matter for sure. I find it inspiring. Thank you.
Look what I found in my mail when we returned from a day trip yesterday!! Wow, What can I say but WOW! Yes, I do like surprises and thank you VERY much. Mim

Thank you Linda!
BTW...love your background photo *!*
Thank you for the Anxious Ninja, Linda. I'm thinking down the road these may be marketable. Given the availability of cheese rinds, of course.
I recently received a lot of really cool ATCs from Linda, along with an ATC-size "magazine" and some other goodies. Take a look at them:

I like all forms of art, Linda. Will post something today, but it may take up to 10 days from Australia.

That video posted by Bruno...yellow is an interesting color choice. Don't think I can say what it brings to mind.
