Stripygoose Sue: Trying to Decide; To bird or not to bird, that is the question:

Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The birds and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a seabird of troubles,
And by opposing birds, end them?

Which leads to another question; Why do we always have to put on the correct postage on our Mail Art?  If 97p gets it here, then why pay more?But the real question of this Mail Art piece lies deeper in thought. Is it a bird, a plane, no, it's something from space.And just by looking at it, we know it's art.  No question about it.  And I'm not just saying it because there was a 5 euro note stuck on the back!

Thank you Sue.  I like your new direction of flight.

Looking forward to seeing the birds again.  I just watched (while on a machine in the gym) the 1962 film The Birdman of Alcatraz starring Burt Lancaster.  I loved the quote;

“Fly my avian friends, I give you the illusion of freedom.  Enjoy it.”

Which is likely to appear in Mail Art someday!

Yep, postage went up again on 30 March. Don't complain because postage in France for international mail went up 26%.

But now for this one time offer, you too can have a Dean's guide to UK postage rates.  Enjoy it!  Personally I have a copy pasted on the back of a photo of my children* which I carry around with me everywhere.
