Yes, we're just now awakening to the malicious intent of these so-called friends. Keith, I sympathize. I've some nasty encounters with Russian Olives along those lines...

For the past twenty years, my neighborhood has been under the control of a local Jacaranda warlord and his army of blooming death squads . . . during part of the year, they blanket the landscape with a lavender coating of rotting blossoms, making pedestrian travelers susceptible to sudden gravitational failure. The Jacaranda stand around and laugh at all the silly humans as they slip and slide across the sidewalks . . .

Literally no one. Just this morning I had a Siberian Elm spit on my car. I understand they're angry. We're all angry but really this constant spitting on my windshield is just childish.

Well.....the larch will come on like they really like you but then when you turn your back they'll fall right on your carport. Seen it a million times.
