I typically think of an envelope being made of paper, but what about other materials that could be used to create an envelope? Have you ever made or received an envelope made from something other than paper? If you have lets see them. The one I show…Continue

to members, ya i agree w/ richard, quite amazing in a mail-art group where

ppl don't want to share their address, get w/ the program, this is about connecting openly w/ other creatives, some ppl nowadays are so suspicious and panicked about doing normal activities. please go to my page and see my address, we need more mail-art!

26.11.14 Dare Envelopes & Ms. Annette R., ...Yes, preserving one's privacy is indeed important. That's why I generally send  all my postcards to "PostSecret" & otherwise always sign them anonymously. Sometimes, I don't even bother to send them to  begin with. This way, everyone possibly involved is safe.  ...&  as ironic as it may seem, this sez a lot for the process of sending things a la "naked mail". Did you know that there are certain postmen who will actually read your postcard before it is even delivered to your mailbox??(....not to mention that "Big Brother" has a way of knowing everything anyway). Take care. & Bitter Safe than sorry as I am,  Richard C.

I have to ask why is it a lot of people don't cover the postal addresses to protect the privacy of the person who sent them some mail art before posting it here on the site  ?   I know if I sent someone some mail art I wouldn't want my address still showing on the envelope for everyone to see.
