David Stafford here. I've been seeing your name for a couple of years now but it hadn't occurred to me until yesterday that we might be related (albeit in a very distant way).
Here's a photo of my grandmother's family, the Heyers. Rosette, one of my grandmother's sisters married a Stolte from Madison (or perhaps Darien?). Rosette had a daughter named Ruth that married an Albright. Any of those names ring a bell? My mother, Jean, Augusta's daughter, is still alive and well at 99. It would tickle her if we happened to share a relative back. Let me know if you know any of the above.
Thank you for the piece(s) you sent. Great timing bc we had a little wind gust while I opened it which sent me crawling around the house gathering the contents. Basically it was confetti! (But I got it all)
Thanks so very much for the wonderful stamped pieces you sent me. I've been way behind on mail art but hope to get caught up and have something in the mail to you soon. Thanks again!
Merci, Gerry & Matthew. indeed "You'll never walk alone."*
(* The B-side of this record had the disco version entitled "You'll never walk alone, nor withiout the assistance of one or more of the following -- crutches, a foot boot, a walking stick, a Mercedes Benz.")
For some unknown reason, this track has never been officially released.
Hi! Katerina tells me that you have foot problems. Join the club! I've had 4 operations on my left big toe over the last 20 months, and it's still not right. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed -- not my toes, 'cos that's impossible -- that the last operation will, eventually work.
